Siena Self-Leveling Underlayment (SLU) and SL20 are portland cement based, rapid setting underlayments designed to create a smooth, level surface prior to the application of a variety of floor coverings. They are designed for fast leveling and smoothing of horizontal interior substrate applications. The SLU can be applied from 0 to 3/4” in a single pore, and the SL20 can be applied from 1/2 ” to 1 1/2 ” in a single pore. After 24 hours a second pore can be made if needed. Surfaces can have light foot traffic in 2 – 4 hours, and floor coverings can be installed within 6 – 18 hours. Siena Self-Leveling Primer must be applied to the substrate prior to using Siena SLU and/or Siena SL20 underlayments.
BASIC USES
Self-Leveling Underlayment (SLU) and SL20 can be used over concrete, plywood, terrazzo, quarry and tile in commercial and residential projects. Siena SLU and SL20 underlayments create a smooth and level substrate needed to install tile, LVT, porcelain, stone, vinyl, carpeting, wood, and other approved flooring materials.
