Product Description
A premium admixture designed to be used with Siena Crete Powder or a site mixture of sand and cement to create a premium polymer-modified mortar, which offers higher bond strength, greater flexibility, resistance to frost, longer open time and better coverage than standard mortars. Siena Crete Admix AX400 is used in demanding applications of tile, stone, brick, and thin brick installs, high moisture environments, and heavy traffic areas. The increased flexibility allows for substrate adjustments from climate and temperature changes without shearing. Siena Crete Admix AX400 can be used on floors, walls and in mortar beds as thin as 3/32” in interior and exterior, residential and commercial projects. Siena Crete Powder is available in white or grey, and complies with the requirements of ANSI A118.4, and is certified by H.C. Muddox Interstate Brick.
BASIC USES
Siena Crete Admix AX400 is used for interior and exterior applications of most tile and stones for both interior and exterior installations, and is freeze-thaw stable. Siena Crete Admix AX400 can be used with the Siena Crete Powder mix or site mixed with sand and cement. In thin brick applications the increased flexibility allows for typical substrate adjustments from climate and temperature changes without shearing.
